My favorite part of being the owner of Meagan Ash Photography is being able to connect with all the moms and families who have just welcomed new babies into their home and lives. As an Iowa newborn photographer, one of the greatest moments is being able to connect with a new mom, support her during this time, and to capture photos to show how beautiful motherhood is and how important it is to show and celebrate mothers.
Janel was nearing 41 weeks and we messaged back and forth about how difficult being overdue is. You’re uncomfortable, baby is continuing to grow, you’ve been prepped and ready for what feels like forever, and you’re just so anxious to meet your little one. Although little Claire had her parents wait on her while she cooked a little while longer, she finally entered the world and became their world.
Claire’s sweet botanical nursery theme was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect backdrop for her photos. The memories that will be made in that room are endless. From her name sign above her crib, to the plant stuffies, there was so much thought and detail put into her room for Claire to enjoy.
